The invention relates to a remote originator system used to remote control at least one electrical appliance, said system comprising means for emitting luminous control signals (SL), and receiving and control means called control modules (MCP). Both of said means can be connected to an electrical power supply in order to control at least one electrical appliance, and both comprise photosensitive receiving means (1) and control means (2) that are activated according to received signals (SL). Said means are characterised in that the emission means of the luminous control signals (SL) are formed by an artificial light source (A) which is connected to the mains, in series with the control body (1) thereof, and is a switch or a modulator; and the photosensitive receiving means (1) comprise detection means (11) that can detect variations in luminous intensity (VIL) in the surrounding luminous environment, selection means (12) for recognising the variations (SL) caused in the surrounding luminous environment by the direct action of a user on the control body (I) of the artificial light source (A), among the variations in luminous intensity (VIL), and interpreting means (13) that can activate the control means (2) according to the characteristics of the signal (SL) formed by the variations in luminous intensity (VIL). |
