Temperature measurement system (1) has a temperature sensor (2) especially a thermal element of Seebeck element that generates a measurement signal (UTH) according to a sensor-specific characteristic curve. A correction element (4), e.g. an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) is connected after the sensor and serves to correct the temperature signal so that it lies within the tolerance range of a standard characteristic curve.
