<p>A commutator comprises a plurality of commutator terminals each having a contact part 12 and a separate terminal part 13, first and second supports 10 and 11, respectively, of insulating material for supporting the contact parts and the terminal parts, respectively, and a plurality of carbon segments 14 formed on the first support 10 and over the contact parts 12, respectively, of the terminals.
