PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pass-through type refrigerator to house a high-capacity cooling unit in a space saving manner, and besides perform highly efficient operation of a cooling unit. SOLUTION: A step-form part 2 is formed at one side part of a heat insulation box body 1 of a refrigerator. The interior of an upper heat insulation box body 2 of the step-form part 2 forms a cooling unit housing space 5 and the external part of a lower heat insulation box body 2 of the step-form part 2 forms a containing space 6 of a condensing unit 20. Opening parts are formed in the front and rear surfaces of the heat insulation box body 1, and a cooling unit 10 is attached to the cover body of the opening part. The cooling unit 10 is held together with the cover body and inserted through the front and the rear opening parts. |
