<p>The final assembly of a mattress often takes place far away from the spring producing factory, making the expenses for transport an important factor in particular in respect to the bulky, but lightweight quality of the item. Especially the strong helical springs (1) also used to sit on can be held during the transport in frames (2) made of carbon steel. The steel band used for the creation of the frames (2) is ideally approximately three times as wide as its thickness.</p> |
