A seat device for a vehicle includes a reclining mechanism (30) supporting a movable member (32) on the seat back side rotatably relative to a fixed member (31) on the seat cushion side, an angle position memorizing mechanism (20) connected to the movable member (32) for memorizing the angle position of the reclining mechanism (30) being locked state, and an operation lever (22) connected to the reclining mechanism (30) to be moved from an initial position thereof to an operating position thereof. The angle position memorizing mechanism (20) includes an actuating member (65) coupled to the movable member (32) so as to be rotated in conjunction with the rotation of the movable member (32) at the outside of the regular angle range, and an engaging member (41) held at a disengaged position relative to the operation lever (22) when the movable member (32) is within the regular angle range and moved to an engaging position relative to the operation lever (22) when the movable member (32) is outside of the regular angle range. <IMAGE>
