Organopolysiloxane gel products having a variety of physical forms and which produce a silky feel when applied to the skin are prepared by reacting an unsaturated organopolysiloxane resin, an Si-H functional organosiloxane crosslinker bearing pendant hydrido functionality, a C<SUB>4 </SUB>or higher unsaturated hydrocarbon, and optionally, an unsaturated hydrophile component. Products ranging from viscous liquids, creamy gels, pastes, and soft powders may be obtained. The products are highly useful in formulating cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.
