A tool holder, particularly for machining deep holes, comprises a tubular body 1, a tool 2 that passes through aligned bores in a bushing 5 and a cylindrical body 16, and a stem 7 extending through the tubular body 1 and screwing into the cylindrical body 16 for clamping the tool 2 in the tool holder. The stem 7 is fixed against longitudinal movement by a seating 8 and a ring nut 11 and when the tool 2 is clamped a tapered part 4 of the bushing 5 is pulled into a conical seating 3 in the tubular body 1. Planar surfaces 26 are provided for clamping the tool holder in a machine tool. |
