<p>Using a method and apparatus for connecting an electrical cable (3) to a circuit board (5). The connector (400) is largely semi-circular in shape and generally comprises four prongs (450) for attaching the connector (400) to the edge of a circuit board (5). The connector (400) is particularly useful for attaching a coaxial cable (3) to a circuit board (5) where the coaxial cable (3) is not very flexible. The coaxial cable (3) can be easily placed onto the connector (400). Once the coaxial cable (3) is placed on the connector (400), the outer conductor (7) can be attached to the connector (400) and the inner conductor (8) can be attached to the circuit board (5).</p> |
