The pump (2) is fed with current from a principal electronic command circuit (3). The signal (8) from this circuit is fed back to a re-initialization circuit (5), connected to the time switch (6), which in turn is connected to a timer (7) with a connection to the principal electronic command circuit. A detector (1) for level in the effluent tank is connected to the command circuit, in parallel with a detector (4) triggered by stoppage or failure of the pump.
