The circuit has a management unit e.g. thermostat, managing coolant e.g. water, flow across a cylinder head (1), a cylinder case (6) or thermal exchange units (13, 14). Two passages circulate the coolant in the head, and a third passage circulates the coolant in the case. The passages are distinct and have respective inlets (2a, 3a, 6a) and outlets (2b, 3b, 6b) to permit independent circulation of the coolant through each passage.
