<p>The invention relates to a mat for the diagnosis and rehabilitation of balance disorders and for bone, joint and vessel rehabilitation or stabilisation. Said mat consists of a first and a second layer (1,2) of non-allergenic rubber material. A filling chamber (3) having a varying or adjustable height is formed between the two layers (1,2) and is filled with elastic material (4), e.g. in the form of individual elastic particles. Walking or standing on the mat stimulates the nerve receptors on the sole of the foot, thereby constituting a form of reflex zone therapy for diagnosis and rehabilitation.</p> |
