PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a longitudinally installed power train device that allows arrangement of low center of gravity, has high motion performance, and allows response to measures for pedestrian protection and indoor walk-through by lowering the floor of a tunnel. SOLUTION: In the longitudinally installed power train device, an input shaft L1, a front wheel output shaft L3, and a rear wheel output shaft L4 from an engine 1 that are disposed mutually in parallel are arranged in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body. The rear wheel output shaft L4 is disposed at the lowest level. Thus, the power train formed of the engine 1 and a transmission 2 and a propeller shaft 9 can be horizontally disposed, the arrangement of the low center of gravity is allowed, and the power train excellent in motion performance can be obtained.
