An articulated sectional door 10, 11, 12, 13 includes a trackway 23, 24, 26 and brackets 17, 18, 19 whereby the door 10, 11, 12, 13 engages with the trackway 23, 24, 26 so that during operation it is guided and supported by the trackway 23, 24, 26 associated with at least one assembly 27, 28, 29, 30, which entrains the door 10, 11, 12, 13 to follow the trackway 23, 24, 26 and includes a guide arm 27 pivoted at 28 to the initial door section 10 attached to at least two rollers 29, 30 guided by the trackway 23, 24, 26 and fixed thereto. The trackway 23, 24, 26 may be in a substantially horizontal or substantially vertical plane. The portions 23 may be vertical or slightly inclined thereto. There are two or more trackways 23, 24, 26 and the arm 27 may be pivotally attached to a member pivotally attached to the section 10. Instead of rollers, sliders or stub axles may be used. |
