PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic supply device which prevents discharge of oil in a main hydraulic circuit through a drain oil passage and drop in hydraulic pressure of the main hydraulic circuit when switching a switching valve, and abnormal increase of hydraulic pressure by making a sub-regulator valve communicate with the drain oil passage when hydraulic pressure of an upstream side discharge oil passage exceeds the specified pressure. SOLUTION: A switching valve is configured so as to have a blocking position in which a discharge oil passage is blocked from both of a main hydraulic circuit and a drain oil passage. The upstream side discharge oil passage communicating between an oil pump and the switching valve is provided with a subregulator valve. The subregulator valve has a valve element actuated by feedback oil pressure of the upstream side discharge oil passage. When the oil pressure in the upstream side discharge oil passage exceeds the prescribed pressure, the upstream side discharge oil passage is made to communicate with the drain oil passage.
