NOVEL REFOLDING METHOD AND PROTEIN OBTAINED BY THE METHOD

It is intended to provide a refolding method for preparing a highly pure and homogeneous protein compared with those obtained by the existing methods and a protein prepared by this refolding method. Namely, a method of refolding a denatured protein such as a solubilized inclusion body which comprises: a) the step of dropping the denatured protein into a refolding buffer solution containing arginine, reduced glutathione and oxidized glutathione; a protein prepared by this method; and a pharmaceutical composition containing this protein.
