<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth injection molding bond magnet wherein rust proofing nature to salt water etc. is superior by forming a phosphate coat on a surface, and a method for manufacturing the magnet. <P>SOLUTION: The rare earth injection molding bond magnet contains magnetic powder (A) and a thermoplastic resin binder (B). On the surface of the magnet, the phosphate coat (C) is formed which contains at least one kind of phosphate selected from Zn<SB>2</SB>Ca(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>2</SB>, Zn<SB>3</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>2</SB>and Mn<SB>3</SB>(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>2</SB>, and the film thickness of the phosphate coat (C) is 10-100 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
