<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a lead storage battery having a negative electrode protruded edge portion 5 precisely bent and easiness of warkability. <P>SOLUTION: A negative electrode plate 2 is conveyed on a moving base 12 and stopped at the position of a deckle edge portion bending device 14. At the position of the deckle edge portion bending device 14, the negative electrode plate 2 stops in the condition that it is placed between an upper base 11 and the moving base 12 and a negative electrode protruded edge portion 5 is bent by pushing it. This negative electrode plate 2 is used on both sides of a laminate to be laminated with a positive electrode 1 and a separator 3, and a group of electrode plates 4 are manufactured by welding the deckle edge portion of the electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
