PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to satisfactorily absorb impact in a magnetic disk device in which a disk to be turnably driven and a magnetic head reading/writing data from/to the disk are housed in a housing. SOLUTION: Leaf springs 31-34 are arranged in the four corners of the housing 1, and the leaf springs 31, 34 are partly protruded from the undersurface of the base 4, and the other parts of the leaf springs 31, 34 are protruded from the side faces of the front side of the base 4. Also, the leaf springs 32, 33 are partly protruded from the undersurface of the base 4, and the other parts of the flat springs 32, 33 are swelling out of the side face of the back side of the base 4.
