PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating instrument of innovative appearance, while keeping proper visibility by devising the constitution of the indicating instrument for a vehicle. SOLUTION: The indicating instrument is constituted in such a manner that a speed meter A, and a revolution meter B are constituted of cases 2A and 2B of circular and cylindrical shape; pointers 3A, and 3B arranged rotatively about the axis of the circular arc in the cases 2A, 2B; stepping motors 13A, 13B for rotating the pointers 3A, and 3B; and toothed belts 11A, 11B. The internal diameter of the case 2A is formed larger than that of the case 2B, the cases 2A and 2B are formed coaxially, and the case 2A is arranged closer to a driver than the case 2B. Thereby the combination meter 1 is improved in visibility, by reducing the movement of the driver's visual line at the time of confirming both the instruments A, and B, and also the appearance of the combination meter 1 is made innovative by making both the instruments A, and B recognized visually stereoscopically.
