PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type seat capable of enhancing the supporting strength in a service condition, and improving reliability when an excessive load is added on the seat. SOLUTION: In the storage type seat, a seat cushion is supported on a floor F side by a link mechanism composed of front legs 40 and rear legs 60, and the seat can be switched between a service condition and a storage condition by actuation of the link mechanism. The link mechanism comprises a supporting means (a supporting member 80) for supporting either one of the front legs 40 or the rear legs 60 on the floor F side, in the seat service condition. The supporting means and the legs supported by that are set to have a generally triangle shape making a seat cushion side as the apex and making the floor F side the base, in the seat service condition.
