A self-seal carton 21 made from a rectangular blank has upper and lower side panel closure flaps 22A, 22B, 24A, connected to the side walls 22, 24 coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive applied in narrow strips 27, 28 to the inner side of the flaps, and upper and lower end panel closure flaps 23A, 23B, 25A, 25B connected to the end walls and coated completely with pressure-sensitive adhesive on the outer side. The side wall 22 and the end wall 25 are connected together by adhesive tape 26.
