The rope (1) is formed into a carrying device with two parallel positioned stretches with loops (1.1, 1.2) at either end. A tube-shaped protection cover (2) made of polyurethane is pulled over the straight segment, permanently joined to the upper rope layer (1.3). The upper surface of the joined layers (1.3, 1.4) can be safely attached to a load to be lifted, while the loose cover (2) at the lower side (2.2) can slide along the rope (1) in order to adjust its position to the actual shape of the bent device.
