PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing green-leaf powder by which green-leaf powder having high content of γ-aminobutyric acid and inhibited in fading-out of green color can be easily obtained.

SOLUTION: The method for producing green-leaf powder comprises the following processes: a process of primarily drying green leaves of green-color plants at 40-70°C; a process of secondarily drying the primarily-dried green leaves at 70-90°C; and a process of pulverizing the secondarily dried green leaves.
