PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print data share processing system preferable to shorten print time.

SOLUTION: A client device 100 acquires status information of a printer 200, calculates the share ratio of a rendering process on the basis of the acquired status information and the status information of the client device 100, converts part of document data into printing data according to the calculated share ratio, and transmits unprocessed part of the document data and the created printing data to the printer 200. Acquisition of the status information and calculation of the share ratio are started during editing of an application 10. When the printer 200 receives the unprocessed part of the document data and the printing data, it converts the unprocessed part of the received document data into printing data and performs printing on the basis of the received printing data and the created printing data.
