<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device or the like with increased degrees of freedom of operation by making a variety of settings changeable and enhanced operability. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal device 102 creates settings data 400 and inputs the settings data 400 to an image output device 101.
