<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular information operating device capable of outputting a position detecting result preventing a sense of incompatibility to operation of an operator. <P>SOLUTION: The information operating device comprises an input operation panel 30 installed on a steering spoke 60, and including a matrix sensor that has a detection range, having a generally same shape as a display screen of a display portion 40 and divided into a plurality of parts, and detects a contact position of operation fingers of the operator. The input operation panel 30 obtains a detection range having the highest priority of the plurality of the detection ranges simultaneously pressed in the matrix sensor on the basis of a fact from which direction the operation fingers operates the matrix sensor, and outputs a number indicating the detection range to a operation controlling portion 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
