<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key device capable of improving responsiveness, up to releasing regulation of an operation start of an ID interlocking apparatus, after making a request for releasing the regulation of the operation start by an occupant. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic key device 10 has a portable device 20 carried by a driver, and outputting first ID information for identifying the driver, and an ID collating device 30 installed in a vehicle 1, registering second ID information in advance, starting ID collation of the first ID information with the second ID information, when closing a driver's seat door 5, when the driver gets in and out the vehicle 1, and holding a collating result for a predetermined time, after closing the driver's seat side door 5.
