PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus capable of forming an image with a high image quality at a high speed. SOLUTION: In the recording apparatus equipped with a non-scanning type recording head corresponding to the whole width of a paper, as carrying is performed by an endless belt 104 provided with hole part 10 corresponding to every unit recording head set 50 being a combination of a plurality of unit recording heads constituting the non-scanning type recording head 44, a maintenance action can be rapidly performed and even when the hole part forming part is affected to rolls 100 and 102, changing of a load to the endless belt 104 is suppressed to be able to form the image.
