VALVE DEVICE AND RECORDING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve device which can reduce noise and a motor load, and a recording apparatus. SOLUTION: The valve device allows/blocks ink flows in tubes 6 and 7 which provide communication between a recording head for performing recording by an inkjet system, and an ink pack for infilling recording ink. The valve device comprises a cam 84 which allows/blocks the ink flows by pressing the tubes 6 and 7, and a motor 1 for driving the cam 84. The recording apparatus is characterized in that the valve device is mounted on a reciprocatable carriage equipped with the recording head for performing the recording by the inkjet system.
