METHOD FOR ADJUSTING ANGLE OF ANTENNA ACCORDING TO SAR VALUE IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR NOTIFYING USER OF SAR VALUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for storing an SAR value based on a transmit power, adjusting an angle of an antenna according to the SAR value and indicating the SAR value for a user in order to reduce influences of electromagnetic waves upon a human body by spacing the antenna and the human body. SOLUTION: An SAR value corresponding to a transmit power value is stored in advance in the mobile communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal reads from a memory an SAR value proportional to a current transmit power during a call and when the SAR value exceeds a reference value, the angle of the antenna is adjusted. When the call ends, the angle of the antenna is returned to its original position. When the SAR value exceeds the reference value, a warning sound can also be generated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
