PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure releasing device for an electrical equipment capable of simplifying a structure and decreasing a cost by saving a pressure releasing film. SOLUTION: A moving shaft 15 is coupled with a valve plate 16 for opening and closing a pressure releasing hole 2, and a pressure releasing spring 18 for biasing the plate 16 to a closed position side is installed on the moving shaft 15. A pressure-releasing-operation-detecting switch 30 having a water-proof structure is provided in a container 22 attached to a pressure releasing cylinder 1 and an operating part 32a of the detecting switch is introduced in the pressure releasing cylinder 1. A control lever 41 for operating the detecting switch 30 is provided in the pressure releasing cylinder 1, and a control-lever-holding strip 43 engaged with the control lever 41 at the normal time of the electrical equipment and keeping the detecting switch 30 before the state of a detecting operation is fixed to the moving shaft 15. The displacement of the moving shaft 15 at the time of the pressure releasing operation disengages the strip 43 from the control lever 41 to make the detecting switch 30 detect and keep the detecting switch as it is even after the valve plate automatically returns to the closed position.
