A medical clipping device, wherein, when an organism tissue (H) to be clipped by a snare wire (5) is clipped, the larger contact surfaces of the tip chip (23) and the rear end ring (24) disposed at both front and rear ends of the loop part (4) of the snare wire (5) are brought into contact with the organism tissue (H) to be clipped to prevent the organism tissue (H) to be clipped from being bitten and to position a snare (25) for cutting by the tip chip (23) and the rear end ring (24). Thus, when the upper portion of the clipping part of the organism tissue clipped by an indwelling snare is cut off by a treating instrument for cutting, it can be securely cut off with a margin, and its operation can be easily performed.
