<p>The present invention is directed to system and method for current sensing using an anti-differential, error correcting, current sensing system (10, 10a, 10b). The invention includes a conductive path (12, 12a, 36, 38) configured to receive a current (14) therethrough. A first current sensor (H1) is positioned on a first side of the conductive path (12, 12a, 36, 38) and configured to monitor a first directional magnetic field (20) induced by the current (14). A second current sensor (H2) is positioned on a second side of the conductive path (12, 12a, 36, 38), substantially opposite the first current sensor (H1), and configured to monitor a second directional magnetic field (22) induced by the current (14) that is substantially opposite in direction to the first directional magnetic field (20). A processing component (18, 18a, 18b) is configured to receive feedback (21, 24, 24a, 26, 28, 28a) from the first current sensor (H1) and the second current sensor (H2) and generate an anti-differential output (19, 30) from the feedback (21, 24, 24a, 26, 28, 28a).</p> |
