PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize synchronized communication on a virtual office space.

SOLUTION: A server terminal 111 makes a client terminal 121 log in, and distributes image data that are transmitted from the client terminal 121 which is made to log in and represent the working situation of the user, to another client terminal 121 which is made to log in in a data format readable to a specified browser, so that the client terminals 121 can mutually read the working situation indication of the user under log-in. The server terminal 111 has a function of making synchronized communication be executed in response to a synchronized communication start request transmitted from the client terminal 121 between the request origin client terminal 121 accompanied with the synchronized communication start request and the opposed party client terminal 121. This function is realized by transmitting a JAVA applet, for example, to the client terminal 121.
