<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material of gruel-like rice of eight kinds of cereals contributing to health promotion, to provide gruel-like rice of eight kinds of cereals, and to provide a method for producing the rice. <P>SOLUTION: This material of the gruel-like rice of eight kinds of cereals is composed of components of brown rice, rolled barley, red bean, adlay, soybean, buckwheat rice, and chestnut each obtained by an organic cultivation method without agricultural chemicals. The method for producing the gruel-like rice of eight kinds of cereals comprises a process of soaking the material of the gruel-like rice of eight kinds of cereals in water for aging, a process of putting the aged material and crushed black sesame in a rice cooker to boil up, a process of steaming the boiled material, a process of bringing the steamed material into rice balls, a process of preserving the rice balls in a cold room, a process of bringing the frozen rice balls to a gruel-like state through adding water or hot water, a process of boiling well the gruel-like material with low fire, and a process of adding natural salt just before stopping fire to bring to a thick state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
