PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management system for securities settlement which appropriately manages securities settlement.

SOLUTION: A securities settlement management system 100 manages securities settlement by using a balance management account 54 for storing a securities balance being the sum of the deposit balances of securities owned by a customer and is provided with: a contracted order database 206 for storing information on a contracted selling order when the selling order received from the customer is contracted; a settlement management section 208 for reading the information on the contracted selling order to be processed for settlement from the contracted order database 206; an account management section 212 for transmitting information on classified management reservation release for releasing management reservation for the quantity of the contracts for the contracted selling orders to be processed for settlement to a safekeeping transfer agency; and a settlement processing section 210 for transmitting information on withdrawal request for withdrawing the quantity of the contracts not involved in the management reservation in the balance management account 54 to the safekeeping transfer agency.
