<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present coordinates which are satisfactory for a sales staff or a customer at sales of clothing. <P>SOLUTION: A sales person operates a portable terminal 23 in each store 2-i, and reads merchandise codes from a series of merchandise coordinated by himself or herself. The series of merchandise codes are transmitted to a headquarter 1, and the coordinates information including the series of merchandise codes is stored in a database 12. When the sales person or a customer who visits the store desires to know the coordinates including the merchandise in each store 2-i, the sales person or the customer operates a UI device 22 or the portable terminal 23, and reads the merchandise code from the certain merchandise. Thus, the transmission request of the coordinates information is transferred together with the merchandise code of the merchandise from the store 2-i to the head quarter 1, and a processor 11 in the head quarter 1 extracts the pertinent coordinates information from the database 12, and transmits it.
