<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator capable of detecting rotation of the oscillator precisely. <P>SOLUTION: This oscillator 10 includes a pair of sound pieces 1a, 1b extended Y-directionally, and for conducting the first vibration for generating Coriolis force corresponding to the rotation of the oscillator 10, a beam 2 extended X-directionally and connected to the paired sound pieces 1a, 1b, the first detection part 6 provided in the beam 2 to detect a change in a shape of the beam 2 due to the second vibration of the paired sound pieces 1a, 1b caused by the Coriolis force, a base 5 for supporting the beam 2, the first connection part 3 for connecting one end 2a of the beam 2 to the base 5, and the second connection part 4 for connecting the other end 2b of the beam 2 to the base 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
