<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component recognition apparatus which can correctly detect a sucked state and the posture of an electronic component with respect to a holding means. <P>SOLUTION: The component recognition apparatus comprises a movable head unit 6 which includes a nozzle 16a for holding the electronic component and a camera 18, and a half mirror 25 which is fixed below a movement range of the head unit 6. When the head unit 6 passes above the half mirror 25, the image of the bottom face of the electronic component C which is reflected by the half mirror 25 is fetched and imaged by means of the camera 18. The component recognition apparatus is also equipped with a first and a second auxiliary mirrors 22 and 26 which reflect the image of the side face of the electronic component C toward the camera 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
