<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core unit for preventing falling-off or the like even under an environment to which various vibrations and impacts can be easily inputted from the surroundings, and to provide a switching power supply having the core unit. <P>SOLUTION: The core unit 1 has a core 2 and a core holding plate 4 for covering the core 2. The core holding plate 4 comprises a ceiling 41 in contact with the top surface of the core 2; and a pair of legs 42a, 42b that extend from both end faces of the ceiling 41 and come into contact with a pair of sides of the core 2. In this case, the ceiling 41 has a nearly planar main plane 41a and a squeezed section 43 projecting in the top surface direction of the core 2 in the main plane. The amount of projection at the squeezed section 43 is precise, thus making nearly equal pressure applied to the core unit 2 depending on the amount of projection at the squeezed section 43 in each individual, when the core unit 2 is retained by the core holding plate 4. As a result, the inferior attachment of the core 2 is reduced even if the core unit is used for the switching power supply or the like and the falling-off or the like can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
