PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope device which can extract the subject part and display the part at the center of a screen even when the subject part is imaged from a plurality of directions. SOLUTION: This endoscope device has an endoscope to image the subject part, a recognizing means to recognize a position of the subject part, a detecting means to detect a position of the distal end of the endoscope and a light-recepting direction, and an image cutting-out means to extract image information of a prescribed area centering the subject part from the image information obtained by the endoscope based on the position of the distal end of the endoscope and the light recepting direction detected by the detecting means and a position of the subject part recognized by a recognizing means when the distal end of the endoscope in the subject part side is moved.
