PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a low cost by reducing arc, improving electric contact reliability, and reducing the number of parts. SOLUTION: A circuit breaker 1 is provided with a power supply side bus bar 10 provided with a first contact 11, a load side bus bar 20 provided with a second contact 21, a housing 30 to house them, and a plug 40 to short-circuit both bus bars 10, 20. The both contact parts 11, 21 are provided with a first and a second sacrifice contact pieces 14, 24 contacted with the plug 40 in advance, and insulating parts 43, 44 are arranged and installed at positions corresponding to these sacrifice contact pieces 14, 24 of both contact parts 41, 42 of the plug 40. Because the both sacrifice contact pieces 41, 42 run over the insulating parts 43, 44 and are contacted with end faces 45 of the both contact ports 41, 42 before the both contact parts 11, 21, arc discharge does not occur during contact of the both contact parts 11, 21 and the both contacting parts 41, 42.
