PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement method that dispenses with the agitation work of a sample solution in a cell, significantly reduces the influence of pressure waves, even if the amount of sample solution is small, and is capable of making measurement very easily and accurately, and to provide a biosensor device. SOLUTION: In the method for bringing the sample solution into contact with one surface of a vibrator having first and second electrodes on both the surfaces of a crystal plate; an AC signal is applied between the first and second electrodes; changes in the frequency of the vibrator are measured according to the relation between the frequency of the AC signal and the electrical characteristics of the vibrator; and the vibrator is vibrated by N-multiple waves (N=3, 5, 7, and the like) for measuring the frequency change.
