SPHERICAL CROP PREPARING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical crop preparing machine so designed as to cope with a problem of the accumulation of the initial jam of spherical crops in an unloading chute 70 gets growing. SOLUTION: The spherical crop preparing machine works as follows: taking spherical crops disposed at an object to be processed-feeding part C1 on a machine body into a processing device part C2 so as to cut the tip parts of the foliage parts of the crops and/or the fibrous roots thereof; and thereafter repeating such a processing as to take out treated spherical crops out of the machine through a discharge chute 70. In the machine, a jam detection means 80 for detecting that the spherical crops are jammed in the discharge chute 70 is provided at a spherical crop-receiving part 70A where a discharge passage alternative mechanism 76 of the discharge chute 70 is provided.
