The invention relates to a device for fluting components of pneumatic tyres for vehicles, with a preferably integral construction. The carcass of the tyre comprises an inner layer, optionally reinforcing profiled elements for lateral walls, lateral walls, and at least one carcass layer and beaded regions. At least one continuously extruded material strip is transported by means of a conveyor belt for further treatment. The inventive device is characterised in that an arrangement of at least two, preferably three, corrugated rollers is mounted downstream of the extruder of the material strip, and the corrugated rollers can be brought into contact with the upper side of the material strip in order to flute the same transversally to the transport direction thereof. |
