<p>Disclosed is a method of treating vascular inflamation in a subject. The method comprises the step of administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an amine polymer. Preferably the amine polymer is sevelamer HC1, sevelamer carbonate, or sevelamer bicarbonate. Atherosclerosis, coronary vascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral vascular disease, glomerulonephritis, retinitis, non -atherosclerotic vasculitis and tissueischemia can also be treated by this method.</p> |
