<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-shaped object in which newlyweds' names, pictures and the like or invited guests' names can be provided without limiting the range thereof and which can be received by markets of a marriage ceremony and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The sheet-shaped object as a gift presented in a marriage ceremony and the like, has an optical recording medium having a substrate, an information recording region provided on the substrate and a center hole provided at the center of the substrate; and a protective sheet including a sheet substrate having nearly the same shape as the substrate, a front ink layer provided on one surface of the sheet substrate and having a conceptional driving type visible information recognized as the front and an adhesion layer provided on the surface opposed to the front ink layer and the sheet substrate and peelably stuck to the optical recording medium.
