PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal oriented ceramic comprising a polycrystalline substance of a perovskite type compound, having a pseudo cubic ä100} plane oriented in high degree and having a relatively easily controllable composition and a method of manufacturing the same, and anisotropic powder used for the same and a method of manufacturing the anisotropic powder.

SOLUTION: The crystal oriented ceramic comprises the polycrystalline substance of a 1st perovskite type compound expressed by a general formula (SrxA'1-x)(TiyB'1-y)O3and the pseudo cubic ä100} plane of each crystal particle constituting the polycrystalline substance is oriented.
