摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal oriented ceramic comprising a polycrystalline substance of a perovskite type compound, having a pseudo cubic ä100} plane oriented in high degree and having a relatively easily controllable composition and a method of manufacturing the same, and anisotropic powder used for the same and a method of manufacturing the anisotropic powder. <P>SOLUTION: The crystal oriented ceramic comprises the polycrystalline substance of a 1st perovskite type compound expressed by a general formula (Sr<SB>x</SB>A'<SB>1-x</SB>)(Ti<SB>y</SB>B'<SB>1-y</SB>)O<SB>3</SB>and the pseudo cubic ä100} plane of each crystal particle constituting the polycrystalline substance is oriented. Where, in the formula, 0<x&le;1, 0<y&le;1, A' are one or more kinds of bivalent metallic elements and B'is one or more kinds of tetravalent metallic elements. The crystal oriented ceramic is obtained by forming the mixture of anisotropically shaped powder comprising a 2nd perovskite type compound and formed on the pseudo cubic ä100} plane as a growth plane with matrix compound powder so as to orient the anisotropically shaped powder and sintering. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
