PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a program for estimating an image region where false color occurs when image data is generated by a digital camera. SOLUTION: The false color generating region estimation device is provided with an aliasing amount in the horizontal direction calculating means for calculating an aliasing amount TH in the horizontal direction in each pixel position, an aliasing amount in the vertical direction calculating means for calculating an aliasing amount TV in the vertical direction in each pixel position, an aliasing amount in the 45-degree slanting direction calculating means for calculating an aliasing amount TN in the 45-degree slanting direction in positions of second and third pixels and an aliasing amount in the 135-degree slanting direction calculating means for calculating the aliasing amount TZ in the 135-degree slanting direction at the second and third pixels.
